INTRODUCTION

The brand is called Colour Crate.
The product is handmade jewellery using (predominantly) Sri Lankan semi-precious coloured gemstones and the concept of Colour Crate is focused on having different themed jewellery boxes which would contain multiple theme-appropriate collections.



 

OBJECTIVES

To build a brand image that communicates with the consumers and builds a sense of pride in them. The identity needs to be distinct and recognizable.

LOGO EXPLANATION
In Sinhalese, the Sri Lankan language, ‘colour’ is called ‘varna’ and ‘crate’ is called ‘pettiyak’. We have used the first characters of both the words to create a formation that looks like a butterfly, resembling beauty and grace.
